Powermatic Data forms Malaysia e-commerce unit Airion Communications to market wireless connectivity products

Airion will focus on marketing and distribution of the Group’s wireless connectivity products in the e-commerce space, signalling a push to deepen online sales channels.

The new subsidiary will be funded through internal resources and is not expected to have any material impact on Powermatic’s net tangible assets or earnings per share for FY ending 31 March 2026.

The company states that none of its directors or controlling shareholder has any interest in the incorporation of Airion other than through their shareholdings in Powermatic.
