The U.S. announced initiatives to counter China’s dominance in the critical minerals market, including a preferential trade bloc with coordinated price floors. The “Critical Minerals Ministerial” in Washington included representatives from 54 countries and the EU, resulting in bilateral agreements with 11 countries and negotiations with 17 more.
