Yangzijiang Maritime Accelerates Vessel Monetisation Strategy with the Sale of 4 Newbuild Bulk Carriers
• Signed contracts for the sale of 4 newbuild bulk carriers, which are scheduled to be delivered between April 2027 and May 2028.
• Separately, the first of the 4 new medium-range tankers, which were held for sale under contracts with an aggregate value of US$180 million announced in November 2025, was delivered in 30 July 2026, with the next tanker expected to be delivered in November 2026 and the remaining 2 expected to be delivered in 2027.
• Together, the Group has entered into sale contracts to monetise a total of 12 newbuild vessels for an aggregate gross value of US$500 million over a 9-month period.
• These vessel sale transactions are expected to contribute positively to the Group’s financial performance in FY2026, FY2027 and FY2028, subject to completion, delivery schedules and applicable accounting recognition, barring unforeseen circumstances.
