Union Steel Holdings Limited has further increased its substantial shareholding in Eneco Energy Limited through an open-market acquisition on 22 September 2026.
Union Steel acquired 3,798,200 ordinary shares for a total consideration of S$30,385.60, excluding brokerage and stamp duties, through a market transaction. This represents an implied average acquisition price of approximately S$0.008 per share.
Following the transaction, Union Steel’s direct interest in Eneco Energy increased from1,061,706,400 shares to 1,065,504,600 shares, with its percentage interest increasing from 27.93% to 28.03%.
The notification also covers Mr Ang Yu Seng and Mr Goi Seng Hui, each of whom holds more than 20% of Union Steel Holdings Limited and is therefore deemed interested in the Eneco Energy shares held by Union Steel. Their respective deemed interests consequently increased from 27.93% to 28.03%.
The latest acquisition represents a further increase in Union Steel Holdings Limited’s investment in Eneco Energy Limited.
