GEO ENERGY: Road Is Open — And Payoff Has Begun. Will Share Price Follow?
Geo Energy has built the road. Now comes the exciting part — putting it to work and reaping the rewards.
Its 92-km coal-hauling road and associated jetty, developed under PT Marga Bara Jaya (MBJ), have been operational since July 2026.
The infrastructure primarily serves the Triaryani (TRA) mine which is majority-owned by Geo.
And management is thinking big.
In a 9 Oct investor webinar organised by Phillip Securities, Chief Operating Officer Philip Hendry and CFO Adam Tan offered a more detailed roadmap for the next two years.
For 2027, Geo is targeting 17–19 million tonnes of group coal production in 2027 (2026 target: 11.5–12.5 million tonnes).
Strikingly, management anticipates another roughly 50% y-o-y increase in coal volumes in 2028. It is an ambition, not guaranteed output.
If achieved, Geo could be looking at a very different scale of operations in just two years.
